New kid on the block!

My second 1969 Gotz No-navel girl, this time with blue eyes.
For so many years during my Sasha Doll collecting I was never even remotely interested or attracted to the later No-navel dolls until a 1969 little pixie-faced-brown-eyed tot seemed to remain on www.sashadolluk.co.uk for a very long time with seemingly not much interest. Every morning, and again at night, I would stop by her and say 'Hello' or 'Goodnight' until I plucked up the courage to 'give these No-navel dolls a go'.... and have never looked back.

Lovely to see this rare outfit still altogether and in such wonderful condition. I'd never seen the beige jumper before.

Still not quite sure whether is was the doll or the outfit that finally attracted me but the combination certainly did because here she is.

Looking forward to finding her some home clothes when I next get my Sasha clothing boxes out although I'm not sure just what sort of outfit suits her the best until I've had a few 'try-ons.'

Highlighting a couple more dolls.

An OOAK Easter dress by Daisy,Daisy seen here on a 1967 Frido Dungaree NP with beautiful eye painting but unfortunately her lips are damaged by being force fed by a child.
This little soul languished on Shelly's website for months and months until a few days before Christmas I succumbed to her plight and took her in promising to 'soft food' feed her until her lips were better. (Unfortunately I haven't as yet managed to find anyone to help with these repairs so she is still living here but wanting to go to a new home sometime in the future.)

These dresses have a delightful Daisy, Daisy trade mark in the fact that they have a tiny little gold bell sewn into the hem at the back which tinkles when you dress her or the doll is on the move.

1960s slate eyed Gotz girl in a NGould smock top over Dollydoodles leggings and JJ sandals.

1960s yellow eyed with lashes girl wearing another Easter Dress by Daisy,Daisy and JJ sandals and commercially made socks.(Apologies for the stray hairs across her face.)

Oh dear! Here comes trouble again with a capital 'T.'

...in the form of baby 'Quirky.'

Just look at all these Easter Eggs. Where did they come from? What are they for? Oh, like an Easter Egg hunt?

Have they got anything inside them still?

Now this looks more like me! Little Candy eggs for little people!
Couldn't resist taking some more photos of these little eggs that Cleo sent them as they so matched the colour of his T shirt!)
I hope your hands are clean before touching them as they are not ALL for you but for sharing with everyone.

There is no need to get that close to them with your face. Just pick one up and put it in your mouth and then move away.

I hope that YOU haven't eaten them all! Oh, you've been sharing them out amongst the others. Glad to see that you are being generous for a change.

All gone!

Now where are you heading to?

Oh no! Not climbing under that chair again!

One of these days I've told you, you are going to get stuck and I'll have to send for the Fire Brigade to cut you free.

Now, just be careful that you don't fall off it.

Just look at how high up I am. Yes, I can see that but do please be careful!

And it's no good looking at me as though butter wouldn't melt in your mouth!

Why can't you just be good and sit still for a while like your little sister?

She's such a good, placid little soul, so content to just sit there quietly.

Never an ounce of trouble.
