First of my two Frido Graphic Eyed Dolls

These 1966 Frido graphic eyed dolls came straight after the developemental girls. This is a FCP example and therefore have originally been dressed in the Jeans style in the brown farmpants and white blouse and white sandals.

Here she is wearing a OOAK Ruthsdolls smocked checked homespun dress with the front opening and co-ordinating coloured shoes and socks. ready for the Autumn or Spring weather.

This was my 70th birthday doll given to me by me and the first of my graphic eyed girls. I love Ruth's little lace collar on the dress.

Another of Ruthsdoll's OOAK homespun checked and smocked dresses, this time with a matching material collar and resembling the very pretty school Summer dresses that the children wear nowadays.

I have teamed it up here with JJ's Mary-Jane style shoes and commercially made pale blue socks.

Below is one of my favourite photos of this doll.

  1. This was left by Cathy on my wordpress blog version.

'Thought I'd have a quick peep at your blog, before tackling my ironing and I'm so glad I did! Kendal this blonde graphic eyed Sasha is absolutely gorgeous, what a treat to see her so close up and modelling such beautiful clothing, it all suits her perfectly, although I do especially love her wearing the first OOAK Ruths dress, gorgeous colours in this dress. Such a blonde, graphic blue eyed girl is on of my dream, dream, wish list! Best get on with the mountain of ironing now but I'm coming back later for another look! Cathy x'
Many thanks Cathy and I sincerely hope that your wish comes true.

  2. This girl's close-up photo is just *spectacular*!!! I'm hopelessly and progressively in love with her. Her eyes are beyond beautiful...!!!
I do like her in all three outfits as they match her coloring... but must concur with Cathy that my favorite is the OOAK Ruths dress... do love the white collar and the lace trim adds a wee bit of femininity... the color white is then repeated in the smocking. The plaid dress with its hues of blue is rich and lovely ... needless to say, I'm a bit of a boot girl... so the navy blue lace-ups are a perfect finish.
I was delighted to read you gave her to yourself for your 70th birthday... that is *so* way cool... nothing like the *perfect present*!!!
Many thanks for sharing this *very* gorgeous girl today!!!
And, thank you Sarah W... :)
    Hugs, -Anne
