New baby brother for Anis.

Anis, now hold him carefully and don't let him fall.

I'm your big sister you know.

I used to go in there BUT I'm a BIG girl now and sit at the table.

Virgin Snow!

Look, there's not a footprint in sight... BUT just wait until we're all suitably dressed and allowed out to go stomping about.

Some of our favourite presents!

I'll just pop you into this wonderful little pushchair that our Uncle Norman so kindly and thoughfully bought us for Christmas. Thank you very, very much, we have been wishing for one like this for a LONG time!

Right must see that you're strapped in safely! Now are you sitting comfortably and then we'll begin our 'walkies!'

Just look at the sweet little outfit that our Auntie Joyce knitted for our baby doll. A big hug and thank you for such beautiful tiny knitteds.

Wednesday 6 January 2010

Afraid that there was not much time spent in the snow today as I was busy taking down the Christmas decorations.

Only time for one person to have one sledge ride!

As it was sunny today and therefore so much warmer I let a few of the babies out to play in the snow.

Some of the more warmly dressed babies having fun in the snow!

We love the snow... and each other!

I want.... to ride my horsey out in the snow.

I want... to ride my trike in the snow!

I want... to make a snow castle!

....and finally WE have the SNOW!

Hurry up everyone. Every minute of snow counts!

We just love it when it snows! Come on, where are you all? I'm getting bored waiting for you!

I think that I'll try climbing this snow covered tree whilst I'm waiting for you all to get togged-up.

Please can I borrow the sledge for a few minutes?

Hello Moosie. How are you coping in these minus degree temperatures?

Now where's the nearest best bank or slope for sledging?

So this is REAL snow and NOT the white towel backcloth. Gosh! It's COLD on my bottom!

Oh dear yet MORE wet clothes for me to dry!

You look as if you are having a fun time in your nice warm coat!

Irka added 'enhanced eyes by Shelly please' on her Christmas wish list.

Oh Irka your eyes are just beautiful! Don't forget to thank Auntie Shelly.

Sasha's Xmas clothes gifts.

We are still wondering what we have done to deserve these fabulous Christmas gifts from our Uncle Steve. He says that he is thrilled that our mummy through her blog and telephone calls has finally encouraged him to change his Sasha collection from their original outfits into home clothing. He sent us this superb Vintage-Sasha prototype new length coat with toning trousers and worn here with Ruthsdolls shoes. Tons of thanks.

During one telephone conversation our mummy happened to mention that she loved this trendy hat. The next minute we knew of was that it was sent to us along with the complete outfit as a Christmas present! Aren't we the lucky ones? A BIG thank you Uncle Steve. A Christine Durand outfit we think with JJ shoes.

A delightful little smock and pants baby outfit from Auntie Ruth .. who well knows that our mummy has gone 'mad' on buying Sasha babies this year! Thank you very much Auntie Ruth. We just love wearing your baby outfits and as one song says 'Nobody does it better!'

Seen here with tights from The Doll Works for added leg protection when crawling on the cold floors.

And a Sashawrdrode fleece for extra warmth when going outside.

A very smart unisex sweater and beanie hat knitted in sock wool for us by our Auntie Kate worn here with Denim jeans from eBay, a warm quilted gillet and Ruthsdolls shoes. We love it thank you.

Another beautifully knitted unisex sweater and hat by Kate Smith worn with some eBay trousers and Ruthsdolls shoes. Thank you Auntie Kate.

Our mummy missed seeing this Sashadollstyle outfit before it was already sold so she asked Nikki if she could make us up another blouse and modern cardigan to go with the trousers that we already had here. Thanks Auntie Nikki. Trousers by Sashadollstyle and boots by Ruthsdolls.

We have been wanting and wishing for a full length pair of black leggings for quite some time since they came into fashion so a big thank you to eBay ID Evesoul for making and giving us this pair.

Leggings worn here with a Daydeeze dress, Trendon Gregor belt and Ruthsdolls slip on shoes.
We are now going to be allowed to search through all the Sasha clothes boxes to find suitable and exciting tops to go with them.
Boy, are we going to have some fun so watch this space!

My daughter's Xmas presents from me.

Christmas stockings continue to play an important part in our family. Being Roman Catholics we had, in the old days to fast from midnight on Christmas Eve if we wanted to receive Holy Communion at the 9.30 Christmas Day Mass so we were only allowed to open our small stocking gifts (these contained no food in case we forgot the fasting rule and were tempted) before going to church. When we arrived back home we had to eat our usual full English breakfast, which incidently was always taken in reverse, bacon, eggs and fried bread etc. BEFORE the cereals (because my brothers would always fill themselves up with the these and then not be able to eat the main course. It has remained in this order with most of us ever since having become so used to ending the meal with the favourite cereals) before any of the main presents under the tree were opened.
My daughter's stocking this year included a wide range of Mac Christmas limited edition makeup and a tool in the shape of a little wine bottle to keep in the handbag that opened up providing many useful devices such as a bottle opener, cockscrew, knife, screw-driver etc.

A few little gifts (a personalised laptray with a photo of her playing Polo, notelets and address labels with the same photo, a Damask wine napkin embroidered with her house name, to name but a few) to sweeten her rather uninteresting main present of her house and contents insurance.
