Father Christmas comes to Sinclair Avenue and stops at the end of our driveway.

As you can see we've just had a visit from Father Christmas on his sleigh and one of my more warmly dressed Sashas quickly rushed out of the house to ask him if he would bring them some presents. He asked if they had all been good and she answered, 'Yes, all of them had'... so we shall see what we shall see on Friday!

A Help or a Hindrance?

Lending a strong supporting hand!

So far so good BUT a little while later while the cat's (me) away....

The mice (Sasha babies) will play!

Thankfully I arrived back just in time to stop the rest of the baby brood climbing on board!
It's a wonder that there's any tree left after your antics!

A case of every little hand helps when decorating the tree.

This Sashas shows a good flare for Christmas Tree bauble positioning!

This little minx started out being helpful..........

Then got bored and wanted to try out being a Christmas Tree Angel but as I pointed out she is definitely NO angel when behaving like that!

Thursday 10 December 2009

Starting decorating the house and whilst some of us are very helpful, others are more of a hindrance.

Shall I hang these bells on the back of the rocking chair for the moment until you are ready for them?

I'd rather you just looked than touched incase you tangle the strings!

You'll fall off there if you're not careful!

Helpful Tabitha adding some red berries to the front door wreath.

Slight hindrance here?

Do you want the mistletoe hanging in the hall as usual?

Sledging in the snow is fun!

Alberto gets his sledge out.

Anyone want to join me?

Ready, steady GO!

'Yes, please' said James.

It goes a lot faster with both of us on! Hang on Alberto!

Gosh, pulling you lot on this sledge sure is hard work!

Alberto offers to give Ross a hand with the babies sledge ride. Hold on tight now!

My Christmas Card for 2009.

You've certainly got a lot of cards to write! Ross and Fritz have already counted over 75.

Is this Jose on the front? Can I be on next years card?

Wishing all my 'Sasha Brood' blog followers a very happy Christmas and New Year.

1970/1 Gregor customised by Shelly and wearing a Doll Works Winter coat.

Baby sees snow for the first time!

I'm going to get you!

Right! 'Gotcha' now!

Now let's have a good look at you.

This was taken later in the day and I love the play of the light here.
