A super gift from our Auntie Sarah Price

What has your Auntie Sarah sent you all then? Oh, a little mechanical city track. How wonderful! You've never had anything clock work before.

Photobucket

Be very careful when you start to get everything out. Put the track pieces all together.

Photobucket

That looks a smart little wind-up car. You must be so careful when you wind it up that you don't overwind it and break the internal spring.

Photobucket

You have to work out now how to connect the track together rather like doing a jigsaw.

Photobucket

Use the photo at the back of the plastic box to help you decide which piece goes where.

Photobucket

Oh, well done! You are getting them linked up in the correct order.

Photobucket

You have to decide just where on the track you are going to put these road signs.

Photobucket

If I were you I'd put the parking sign close to the park or lake where people need to park their cars so that they can get out and enjoy the environment.

Photobucket

Now wind it up very carefully.

Photobucket

Put it carefully on the track now.

Photobucket

Right! Get ready, steady and now let it go!

Many thanks to Sarah who is STILL listing these for me.

  1. Lorraine has left this comment on my 'wordpress' blog version so thought that I would add it here for those who are still viewing my first blogspot AND who can still read the comments using Google Chrome.

'Oh that looks fun! Which reminds me, in our loft SOMEWHERE is the perfect toy for Sasha babies...it is a miniature train set that DS1 got when he was 4...now I wonder where it is. It really is tiny and will be perfect.'

Thanks Lorraine for all your wonderful comments on practically every post of mine. You certainly 'spur' me on to add more.
